General Release: Summer 2023

As a hobbyist language learner, I've tried my hand at nearly all of the major language-learning apps. The bad news? None of them work. So I started making my own. Meet Xuewen.

Xuewen is a language-learning app built in python that emphasizes customizability. It uses artifical intelligence powered by pytorch to learn from your habits, and to help you attack your learning weaknesses upfront. It uses generative AI to create tailored content to help you learn. It incorporates spaced-repetition algorithms based on proven research to optimize your learning efforts, and (soon) it'll be able to sync across devices.
